2007 Haunted House Pictures
I collaborated with a friend for this year's
haunted house.  This was the first year
that I had done a haunted house, and I
wrapped my cheap 10x14 canopy
carport in 6 mil plastic.  My friend added
his pvc pipe haunted house.  We had
over 140 square feet of terror!
Side view.  You can kind of see the
tomb stones in the yard with the
spiderweb.  They are lit with a red
spotlight.
Side view.  The entrance is at the gate
behind the sidewalk and the skull tiki
torches (really cool effect!)
Jack-o-Lanterns are placed on the
sidewalk.
Entrance view.  Still in the process of
staging on Halloween Day.  We worked
right up until people started to come!
These are the witches that will be in a
room surrounding a feast of bloody
treats!  (Thank goodness it will be dark
and you won't be able to see all of the
power cords!)
This is a better view of the tombstones,
spider web, and bones that line our front
yard.
Bones and tombstone.  The "box" on the
ground is a plastic storage bin that
houses the spotlight to keep it semi-dry
and so that all you see at night is the
"glow" from the light, not the light itself.
More staging in process...  I was
worried that we might not get done in
time!
This is the big room in the PVC addition
that my friend did.  My son and his
friend in the process of putting up
dungeon brick clings.
Collaborator Mike hanging spider
webbing...
Mikes daughter ready to lead the way!
She guided the younger kids through.
The exit from the haunted house.  Street
view.
The witches' feasting table buffet.
Same witches' room, chandelier with
snakes.
Dungeon with hanging ghost and
spiderweb.
Dungeon with grave riser prop.
Dungeon; coffin with a glowing-eyed
spook!
Animatronic Freddy Kruger at the exit.
My home-made skull blood
fountaintain with fire eyes.  See the
plans for this on the home page.
(Projects)
Giant spider web built last Halloween.
It was trimmed for size to fit in the
alloted space.  Glows under black
light!  See the plans for this on the
home page.
These were the witches in the witches
room.  Glow-Sticks were placed
behind their masks to make their eyes
glow.
Here are the Jack-O-Lanterns and the
skull tiki torches.  Maybe our place
really is haunted!  Check out the orbs
to the left of the farthest tiki torch,
and just under the window.
SPOOKY!  These are all full size
pictures.  Save this and enlarge it.
You'll be surprised!
Finally, a picture of the victims....
err..  I mean guests lining up to....
Seal their fate?  Muhahaha!
